Raynor was led by the apparition. He tries speaking to it, but offers nothing, instead the shade is pointing the lance that was left at his brother's grave, towards Raynor, issuing a challenge. Raynor perplexed, says he doesn't want to fight, but the shade rushes towards him, giving Raynor a brief window to avoid it's attack. Raynor sighs, realizing there wouldn't be any reasoning, pulling out Gae Bolg, and battles the shade. Was it a ghost of his past, haunting him, or simply, the departed wanting to prove his worth to upholding their history.
