A comic of my WoL/D, Yur'ir Kha, and the Crystal Exarch the evening after the night sky returned to Lakeland. Theyre somewhere in the tower sharing stories before bringing the celebrations to a close. E: Alright, t'is getting quite late.. Y: What? No, we're celebrating! one more. E: My friend, I really must insist... Y: One more! I've another story to tell. The Exarch, unable to resist, agrees. E: ... very well. Y: Yes! Yur'ir plops down next to him, probably too tipsy for this conversation. Y: You first. I want to hear one of your stories. E: No, no, you said you would-. Y: Hmm but I thought you knew all my tales? E: (greedy, playing with fire) and yet I would know more. They settle in close as their banter continues, their shoulders nearly brushing. Uh oh. Y: Unfair! You get to keep your secrets-. E: Oh, can I? Truly? Y: Fine!! If you answer me one question... Just one! Its only fair-. E: Haha, okay, one question. The Exarch will grow to regret this.

Yur'ir leans in ever closer, eager to make good on his earlier question. Y: Can I touch your hand? E: You ask *many* questions. Y: Just one last question, then... The exarch peers nervously through his hood, unable to resist seeing Yur'ir's face clearly as his personal space is entirely invaded. Rude, but like, its hot. Y: Exarch.. Yur'ir's voice dips, and he leans in towards where he imagines the exarchs ears are. Y: When was the last time somebody touched you?

The exarch sits there, continuing to curse himself out for his inability to take action here, as Yur'ir tries desperately to backpedal. Y: Honestly, I'm not trying to make you uncomfortable.
