three depictios of W D Gaster before his shattering across time and space, ones specifically made under the idea of him being a therapist in the world of DELTARUNE. the left design is the most regular, closely following the look of the mysteryman sprite from Undertale, a one eyed, toothless skeleton wearing a green turtleneck and purple gloves that hide the holes in his hands as to not scare his patients, who are usually children. the middle design attempts to follow closer to the style of skeleton monster put down by sans and papyrus, loosely based off of the face you get when flipping mysteryman upside down, i opted for a cross-eyed look on this one as to make him standout. i like the idea of him coming off as those joke, fake characters who people make up and say "has been there the whole time!". one hand rests in his pocket and the other holds baby kris', who i've drawn with pigtails here for no particular reason. the right look is the most ambiguous, he sports a winter wardrobe and a monocle that mostly hides his face, but what you can see and, what i imagine him to look like, is partially based on the gaster blasters and some of the wall faces you see in the cliffs of chapter 1. i've aldo depicted this one speaking! the scene is set as if he was standing at the doorstep of the holiday manor, as he proclaims: "MAYOR HOLIDAY ! APOLOGIES FOR MY TARDINESS, I WOULD SAY THE COLD HAS GOT UNDER MY SKIN BUT, WELL... HA HA HA. ... IS DECEMBER...?"
