1. Too wide, too straight ➡ [pointing to the inner corners of his head] No right angles: on the show his head is more like an isoceles trapezoid with a wide base. I find it easier to think of his head as close to 4:3 in aspect ratio.
2. Too flat ➡ Convex or concave: there is a certain protusion to his face that makes perspective look better (if it is flat, it looks bland). For emotional emphasis and a more dynamic visual, play around with curvature. I prefer to make it convex because it usually leads to better results?
3. Too... proper? ➡ Avoid making his facial features proportional and symmetric. Make his eyes sit closer together than a normal character. When in doubt, make him look a little unhinged.
4. Mouth shape: his mouth and eyes change wildly in shape, but the basic mouth shape should be a wide shark tooth.
