Shown here is the Nightfall campaign which takes place on the continent of Elona. New players would start at Istan, a sort of "tutorial island" meant to give you an abbreviated leveling experience up to the level cap and to introduce you to the world and characters before the main story truly begins.

I'm just saying, we have a giant Deus Ex Clockina that's gotta be lying around here SOMEWHERE which is capable of functionally altering memories....perhaps it could induce memories of the events of the Hydaelyn-Zodiark Saga into a player who chooses the "New" MSQ option so that they can experience it as if they were there!
