digital fan art of Qifrey and Oruggio from Witch Hat Atelier, depicting Qifrey enveloped in a tangle of silver wood branches and leaves, while Oruggio stands opposite him and holds his hands. they are both depicted as thin young men. Qifrey is very pale and has short wavy white hair, the bangs long enough to cover his eyes and the top of his cheek as he is hanging his head low. Oruggio has tan skin and short straight black hair, both it and his goatee somewhat unkempt. there are burn scars visible on the backs of his hands, palms and forearms. both of them are wearing their usual clothes. Oruggio is dressed in a long dark skirt with an intricate wide belt and a loose white shirt tucked into it, with long billowing sleeves, caught at the elbows with dark cords. Qifrey is wearing a black turtleneck, the collar covering his neck and the sleeves covering his hands halfway; his white robes and skirt are a mess of drapery caught in between the silver wood branches. he seems to be limp and resigned, letting the branches hold him up, his face covered and half out of frame, his lips pressed into a thin, anguished line. Oruggio stands in front of him, pressing the back of Qifrey's right hand into his chest, and holding the fingers of Qifrey's left hand loosely in his right, together with his ivory-handled pen, resting between Oruggio's thumb and Qifrey's fingers. his face is turned up to Qifrey's, and he is wearing a soft smile, eyes closed as if he is sleeping, resting his cheek on a branch that curls gently around his shoulders and back.

digital fan art of Oruggio from Witch Hat Atelier, depicting him casting a fire spell. he is a young man of average build, with tan skin, short straight black hair and a short beard. he is wearing his usual outfit of a white shirt and long dark skirts caught at the waist with a wide belt. the long billowing sleeves of his shirt are tied back with dark cords, the right one just above the bend of his elbow, and the left one wrapped around his forearm. there are various burn scars visible on his right forearm and the palm of his hand, and he is wearing a heavy leather glove on his left. he is drawn facing the viewer. his right arm is raised, forearm obscuring the lower half of his face, hand holding his pen; the pen has an ivory handle, shaped like a saber tooth, and a silver nib. his palm quire is gripped in his lowered left hand, open. a flame has burst from the center of the completed sigil, the long tail whipping in an arc around Oruggio, as if following his casting hand. a large glowing sigil of fire, which is shaped like an upside-down triangle with short lines running perpendicular through the center of each side, is framing his figure. the flame and sparks around Oruggio are bright red, orange and yellow, bringing out his dark blue eyes that seem to almost glow as he is staring at the viewer with quiet intensity.

digital fan art of Oruggio and the Brushbug from Witch Hat Atelier, a semi-realistic re-draw of a panel from chapter 44. Oruggio is a young man of average build, with messy short straight black hair and an unkempt goatee. he is wearing his usual white shirt with billowing sleeves caught at the elbows with dark cording; there are burn scars scattered on his forearms and hands. the brushbug is a silly fluffy noodle creature that's mostly fur and huge eyes, with a tail that is twice as long as its body. Oruggio is lying down on his stomach, propped up on his elbows, and razzling the hell out of the brushbug's tail while it's rolling around on the floor in front of him with its paws all akimbo. Oruggio is looking up with a beleaguered and unimpressed expression on his tired face, as if momentarily distracted from bothering the animal.

digital fan art of Qifrey and Oruggio from Witch Hat Atelier. it is based on an illustration featured in chapter 47 of the manga, wherein the Silver Leaf Tree is reaching up towards the Star, who is sailing the sky in a boat. Qifrey is depicted as a thin and tall light-skinned person with short curly white hair; his fingers extend into long silver wood branches, similar to the Silver Leaf's fingers in the original illustration. he is dressed in a long flowing gray tunic with long wide sleeves and his signature plaited high collar, the fabric caught at the waist with a wide etched leather belt decorated with tassels. on his head, there is a circlet made of black leaves and long spikes. Oru has an average build, light brown skin, short straight black hair and a short goatee. he is wearing a white toga-like tunic draped over one shoulder, leaving his arms bare and the burn scars on his hands and forearms visible. there is a wide tasseled blue sash around his waist, and, like Qifrey, Oru has a crown on his head, his shaped like a collection of stars. the characters are placed facing each other, Qifrey on the right and Oru on the left and upside down. Qifrey is sitting on the gray branches of a silver wood tree, reaching with one hand for a star right next to Oru's chest; he is looking at it with wonder and quiet excitement. Oru is kneeling in a small boat, one arm raised and the hand placed on the end of an oar handle, which is standing vertically; the other arm is resting against his thigh. he is looking at Qifrey's face with a smile. there is water around the boat, dyed pink and soft orange with the light of the star, the upside-down wave foaming and curling towards Qifrey, while the silver wood branches reach for Oru. behind the characters, the sky is a pale sunrise blue, with smaller stars and sea spray shimmering all around them.

a black and white digital sketch of Oruggio from Witch Hat Atelier. he is depicted as a thin young man with disheveled short straight black hair, overgrown bangs and an untrimmed goatee. he is dressed in a billowing shirt with large sleeves that are caught at the elbow with cords, and a roomy long dark skirt; he is barefoot. there are contracture burn scars visible on the back of his hands and on his forearms. he is sitting down on a chair that is only sketched out with a couple of lines; his posture is relaxed and casual, with a slight slouch. one of his legs is bent with the foot resting on the seat, while the other foot is resting on the floor. his left elbow is propped against the raised knee, and he is holding a notebook in his left hand; his right hand is holding a pen and appears to be drawing a glyph circle. he is looking up at something out of frame with an unimpressed frown on his face.

digital fan art of Qifrey and Oruggio from Witch Hat Atelier, styled like a pencil drawing. they are depicted as older teenagers, kneeling on the ground opposite each other and drawing on the same sheet of paper. Qifrey has short wavy light hair curling over his ears and forehead and is dressed in light pants, a dark long-sleeved turtleneck and a tunic with shorter, roomier sleeves. Oru has short straight dark hair, messy and falling into his eyes; he is wearing trousers and a long loose shirt caught at his waist with a belt, its neckline, hem and rolled-up sleeves decorated with embroidery. they have just started drawing, their pens barely gliding past each other. they are holding their pens in the hands furthest away from the viewer - Qifrey in his right and Oru in his left; the fingertips of Qifrey's left hand are on the paper, holding it down, while Oru's right hand is resting on the back of his neck. Oru is looking down at their work with a slight smile; Qifrey is looking up at his friend, his eyes uncertain and cheeks reddened. their witch caps are on the ground behind them, the long dark ribbon of Qifrey's cap curling around it.

a black and white digital drawing of Qifrey and Oruggio from Witch Hat Atelier. they are depicted as older teens, with lanky builds and younger faces.
