Pomni and Jax sit near each other on separate couches. Jax is looking off into the distance at Ragatha, who’s speaking to someone out of view. Pomni is looking at Jax.

Ragatha and Jax sit against a stark white wall—bright white lighting casts the scene in little to no color with sharp, dark shadows.
Ragatha leans back against the wall in a state of shock, several knives sticking out of various parts of her body; one of the knives is wedged inbetween two broken pieces of her button eye, and another prominent knife is lodged into her chest. Bright red blood noticeably splatters everywhere from the chest wound, whilst all of the other knife wounds spill stuffing instead. The shadow cast on the wall next to her takes on the form of her mother.
Next to her, Jax—who has no sketch lines and who’s body is only visible by the shadows it casts creating the suggestion of form—slumps against the wall with her head near completely obscured by the larger shadow coming in diagonally from the top of the screen. Blood splatters from her head approximately near her left ear; the blood splatter forms the shape of a hair bow. Jax’s shadow on the wall next to her looks like hair, streaming down towards the floor.

Pomni stands wearing a sweater and a scarf with a mug of liquid held in one hand, smiling and looking upwards at Jax, who’s head is resting on top of her jester hat. Jax looks off to the side with an annoyed expression, although the slight upwards tilt of her mouth and blush on her cheeks makes it clear her annoyance isn’t real. She has her arms wrapped around Pomni’s shoulders, and Pomni has a hand up against Jax’s left arm.

Text reads:

Jax: “I’m cold.”

Pomni: “Aren’t you the one with fur?”

Jax: “Shut up.”

Jax is colored a bright shade of red against a gray background; Pomni is in front of him (colored in dark gray) holding a gun. Jax is gripping her arm and the barrel of the gun itself to press it against his forehead. A line (indicative of a bullet) goes through his head behind him, striking two yellow silhouettes that each fall further backwards, both wearing bows (which are the only visible detail); Jax’s final (furthermost) yellow silhouette has pink bleeding out from the bow as well as hair swinging forward, and a huge splatter is coming out of the back of her head from the impact.

A sketch depicting two versions of Jax—one version, captioned “immediately after un-abstracting” depicts her standing stiff and wide-eyed with corruption mottling her body. The second version, captioned “some time later” depicts a much happier version of Jax in an overall dress, with the remnants of her abstraction/corruption having become the hair on her head. An arrow in the center points between the two versions with a small sketch of Caine, with the text “Caine’s help!”

Three side-by-side sketches of Jax with hair resembling her abstracted form—from left to right she is staring, shocked, and smiling (in a stressed way)

A sketch of Jax and Pomni lying in the grass. Jax is on her side, facing away from Pomni and staring at her. Pomni is looking up at the sky with a sullen expression.
