Kris has on their dog ears, dog tail, and a tail whole blushing. Ralsei and Susie pets them like a puppy. Kris is enjoying it. It was Kris’ idea.

Asriel is helping Kris speak and telling them they will always be safe and cared for in their new family. Kris, who takes the word by heart, attempts to speak. Though they end up letting out a howl similar to a puppy.

Regardless, Asriel is overjoyed and hugs Kris. Toriel, who saw the whole thing is amazed. She is also relieved to see Kris open up at all, let alone show any sign of comfort and joy.

[When drawing this, I was imagining how the early days might be with Kris and the Dreemur family. A young kid who needed more time speaking for the first time and opening up to their new family. Was inspired by childhood memories & the video of the baby that let out a cute howl with his dad!]
